The best of the tradition in an informal setting...
We offer stimulating and eclectic courses on Jewish topics four nights a week in the Washington area. Our open, independent, non-denominational, and participatory atmosphere earned us a reputation over the past 30 years, thanks to the excellence of our teachers, who are all volunteers. Courses change each semester, so look for the latest classes as well as signature courses. We welcome teachers and students of all backgrounds. For more info, click here.

"At the Jewish Study Center, we believe there are a thousand ways to get involved in Judaism-- through culture, religion, politics, spirituality, and literature, among many others. We place a high value on the availability of education, and so we offer as many venues, class times, and approaches as we think people might like." --Rachel Miller, Executive Director
